Print + Production
In 2013, I began my employment at commonvision, UMBC’s Design & Print Center. Since then I have grown from a student employee to Assistant Director - overseeing all print and production for our space. My skill set is broad, including large-volume laser printing, wide-format display and outdoor signage production, finishing services (saddle-stitch binding, coil binding, machine cutting and folding), wide format lamination and mounting, adhesive vinyl applications (cut-contour stickers, adhesive wallpaper installation, window signage), button-making, and screenprinting. I love to tackle the challenging projects and do as much maintenance in-house as possible.
It is my belief that print provides unique tactile experiences that create tangible connections that are difficult to replicate in any digital environment - believe me, I tried.

Training + Instruction
I am the primary training member for commonvision’s university-student team of office and production assistants. Multiple students have gone on to become full-time print production operators in the field. The videos below are a sample of how we inform the university (and public) of the behind-the-scenes work that we do.
